Jounieh Walsh Bay

We just had A 10 dish banquet experience that we are rating 10 out of 10 and I would recommend it to everyone to come and enjoy. The service was brilliant, atmosphere fantastic and the food was unbelievably exceptional. Situated less than a five minutes walk from Barangaroo Metro Station “Jounieh” situated in the heart of Walt Bay with environment atmosphere and incredible views of Sydney Harbour.

We ordered the banquet for two and it was absolutely outstanding! The hummus and tabbouleh were some of the best I’ve ever had—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The sambousek was delicious and followed by juicy lamb kofta that was full of flavor. The lamb shoulder was cooked to perfection, so tender it just melted in the mouth. The chicken kebabs with potatoes were also amazing—rich in flavor and even better with the garlic sauce. I finished the meal with pistachio ice cream, which was the perfect sweet ending and absolutely delicious. The place itself was beautiful and relaxing, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Special thanks to Tony for the excellent and attentive service. Overall, an incredible Lebanese dining experience that I’d highly recommend!

I recently dined at Jounieh Walsh Bay and was thoroughly impressed! The service was outstanding - all the gentleman staff were friendly. The Lebanese cuisine was exceptional, and as a fan of Middle Eastern food, I was blown away by the flavours of the dishes. The course menu was reasonably priced and perfectly suited for the season. The ambiance was warm and cozy, despite not being overly fancy. But what truly stole the show was the stunning scenery - it added a magical touch to the entire dining experience. Highly recommend!

Everything we tried was delicious — the dips (hummus, labneh, and baba ghanoush) were super fresh and flavorful. The grilled skewers were juicy and well-seasoned, and the potatoes were crispy and perfect. The lamb dish was the star — tender, rich, and full of flavor. The place has a calm, cozy vibe and the staff were really friendly and attentive. Definitely coming back again soon!

Visited Jounieh for lunch and had an absolutely amazing experience. The beautiful view over Walsh Bay set the scene perfectly, and the food was full of flavour and freshly prepared. We shared a great mix of dishes — including Salt & Pepper Calamari, Grilled King Prawns with saffron beurre blanc, and dips like Hummus and Baba Ganouje, followed by larger plates such as the Traditional Chicken Skewers and Jounieh’s 5-hour slow-cooked lamb shoulder. The calamari was absolutely amazing — one of the best in the city — and the king prawns were rich and full of flavour. The main portions were generous and the meat was outstanding. The chicken skewers were big, juicy and delicious, while the lamb shoulder was the star of the show — tender, beautifully spiced and falling off the bone. The Fatoush salad was one of the best I’ve had, fresh and crisp. There’s also an extensive drinks menu with something for everyone, including alcohol, mocktails, soft drinks and tea. Service was excellent and the staff were friendly, making the whole feast even more enjoyable. Overall, such a pleasant experience — we’ll definitely be back.

If you are looking for authentic Lebanese food, amazing service and a high end but laid back atmosphere, this is the PERFECT place for a date night, a family dinner or even just a catch up with a friend. The food is the best quality I have had, it was all very fresh, delicious and filling! We had the Banquet 3 ($115 pp) and it was absolutely well worth it! We also met the owner, Tony. Who was so kind and really made our experience personal. I will be booking in again very soon!! Highly recommend

Absolutely outstanding experience at Jounieh Mediterranean! This was the best meal I had during my entire visit to Sydney. The vegetarian options were impressive and delicious—especially the fresh, tangy fatoush salad and the rich, flavorful eggplant with falafel. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The service was excellent, attentive, and friendly, which made the evening even more enjoyable. I loved the outdoor seating with its gorgeous views—it gave the whole experience a sophisticated yet relaxed feel. I highly recommend Jounieh for anyone looking for incredible Mediterranean food in Sydney.

Jounieh is an absolute hidden gem. I recently had a fantastic Christmas lunch here and everything was delicious. My favourites were the roast chicken—tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection—and the kafta, which was beautifully seasoned. The atmosphere is another standout. The half-outdoor seating paired with harbour views made the experience even better. We sat facing the water on a gorgeous summer day, which was just perfect. Service was excellent as well. Even with our large group, the waitstaff were attentive, organised, and took great care of us. I’ll definitely be back.
